I got together with Gemma Frizelle, an extremely talented rhythmic gymnast, to shoot a series which emphasises the contrast between the fluidity of human form, and the rigidity of what we leave behind.

It was incredible how this vast, abandoned structure evoked such an immense feeling of stillness and calm, and acted almost as a stage for Gemma to move naturally and experiment with her surroundings.
